Site Manager / Project Manager

This role requires excellent communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with various people, such as subcontractors, workers, architects, engineers, and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and others to determine and execute project needs. 

  • Set performance goals and deadlines.

  • Plan construction processes.

  • Develop and maintain relationships and collaborate with engineers, owners, regulatory entities, clients, subcontractors and vendors. 

  • Track change orders, shop drawings, RFIs and addendums.

  • Monitor and report on project progress.

  • Plan inspections and obtain construction permits from local authorities.

  • Implement safety and quality guidelines.

  • Order the appropriate equipment and arrange for regular maintenance.

  • Keep track of material stock and orders.

  • Receive shipments and ensure they are in good condition and are the same quantity as ordered.

  • Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly.

  • Cleanup site on a regular basis. 

  • Resolve on-site issues and emergencies.

  • Manage the customer experience by walking them through the different stages of construction.

  • Assist in resolving issues/conflicts related to daily construction activities (e.g., contracts, work orders, job progress, design)

Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar role.

  • Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites.

  • In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes.

  • Familiarity with CAD software.

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace products.

  • Organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to lead and inspire.

  • Ability to read scale drawings and perform basic takeoffs.

  • Basic proficiency in Bluebeam.

  • Ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of residential construction projects including utilities, excavation, foundations, framing, MEP, fire suppression, insulation, drywall, trim, tile, and others.

  • A general knowledge of building codes.

  • Knowledge of green building techniques, codes and products in Colorado.


Salary based on experience ranging from $75,000 per year to $125,000 per year. Generous vacation and healthcare.
