Evans House

Located in the heart of downtown Lafayette, Evan's House brings together the character of a historic miner's cabin and the performance of modern Passive House construction. The project pairs the existing historic home with a thoughtfully designed new addition behind it, creating an opportunity to preserve the property's history while introducing a new standard of comfort, efficiency, and durability. Designed to achieve passive house standards, the addition demonstrates how high-performance building principles can complement historic architecture and bring new life to an established property.
